Results from Wednesday – April 13th

The Softball team defeated Milford 7-5 to open the season. The Cavaliers had a great day at the plate against Milford. Kailey Disco went 4/4 at the plate with 2 RBIs, 3 singles, and a triple. Emily Tebbetts had a single and a stolen base. Savannah Duquette had a double and 2 RBIs. Emily Sartell had a double and two singles with an RBI. Ava Imbrogno had a double. Ally Johnson had a single. Austyn Kump had a day at the plate and on the mound with a home run over the center-field fence with 2 RBIs. She also had two stolen bases. On the mound, Austyn pitched seven innings with 15 strikeouts.
The Baseball team defeated  Milford 9-0, with Padge Macseain and Zak Lussier combining on a one-hitter.  Padge struck out 4, and Lussier struck out 3.  Torin White went 2/3 with 2 RBI, MacSeain went 1-3 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored.  Alex Razzaboni hit two doubles driving in 2, and Zakery Lussier 2/4  (1b and 3b) with 2 RBI. Charlie Hale went 2/3.
The Volleyball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 3-game sweep of Souhegan with scores of  25-10, 25-13, and 25-18. The top performers were Jake Laborde, 11 kills, 11 aces; Aidan Norris, 6 kills, 4 aces, Kaleb Popham, 3 kills; and Ethan Norris, 17 assists.

The Jv Volleyball team swept Souhegan in the two deciding sets, 27-25, 25-22, and lost the extra set 16-14. Sophomore Pat Cullen led the offense with 5 kills and a great defensive game. Jacob Medina served well and had 4 kills. Sophomore Andrew Rezzarday chipped in with four kills, while Liam Sinclair and Mason Marshall anchored the team with solid defense
The  Boys Tennis Team traveled to Peterborough to play against Con Val and lost 3-6.  The boys started off strong with number 1 singles player Bryson Giersh defeating his opponent Jaimini Viles 8-3. No. 2 singles player William Critchfield used steady play to win his match 8-4.  No 3 singles player Hayden Smith lost his match 0-8.  No. 4 singles player  Jason Babcock lost 3-8.  No 5 singles player Finn Brown and No. 6 singles player Elliot Troddyn both lost 1-8.  The doubles team of Bryson Giersh and William Critchfield won their match 8-3. In a tough-fought match, the doubles team of Hayden Smith and Jason Babcock lost 5-8. The doubles team of Finn Brown and Elliot Troddyn lost 1-8
