Milette says yes

On March 1 Victoria (Tori) Milette, an English teacher at Hollis Brookline High School, got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Lance.. The couple decided to take a trip up to Mountain View Grand Resort over February break. After they arrived at the resort, Lance asked her to play a guessing game. This game was one that the two frequently played; Lance would play a song, and Millette would have to guess who sang it However, this time it was different. When Milette would guess the name of the song, Lance would hold up a laminated sign displaying the song title and band name, with one of the words highlighted. As the game progressed, these highlighted words spelled out “WILL YOU MARRY ME?”

After the inevitable “YES” from Milette, they finished off their vacation relaxing, and  occasionally throwing axes: an event held at their resort. Since then, both Milette and Lance have been up to their eyes in wedding planning and visiting family. When asked about how it felt to be engaged, Milette said, “It feels the same, you just have to visit more people.” Overall, both Milette and Lance are more than excited for their up and coming marriage. Millette’s wedding is set for the summer of 2018.
