What isn’t as obvious is the lockdown defense the team has, as they have only allowed more than 10 goals in one game this season. “I like to get the chance to shut girls down because that feels better than scoring a goal, for me. I am a personal believer in defense wins championships,” said defender Caroline Smith ‘19.
