To close out Act 1 of Saturday night, seniors in the Honors Choir sang Wildflowers by Tom Petty along with director Matthew Barbosa. From left to right: Erin Moynihan ‘19, Grace Catalanotti ‘19, Owen MacMillan ‘19, Abbie Fitzgerald ‘19, Laurie Houvener ‘19, Nicole Plummer ‘19, Taylor O’Connell ‘19, Barbosa, Caroline Pack ‘19, Johanna Golden ‘19 and Dan DeLong ‘19. “Wildflowers is really awesome for us because we’re Barbosa’s first class that he’s ever seen graduate. Because he left his other job after three years,  he didn’t get to see his freshmen graduate,” said Nicole Plummer. “It was really awesome for us to be able to sing one time together as a senior choir class with him because he’s shaped all of our lives in so many important ways.” The emotional nature of the performance left many in the audience teary-eyed by the time intermission came.
