New Findings: History

Megan McLaughlin ‘20, a member of the Greek and Latin Club, learned from Mr. MacFarline how to clean the coin and understand the history behind it. “With the skills Mr. MacFarline taught us about carefully uncovering them, [it] allowed us to identify it, and appreciate how awesome it was that we were able to find this actual piece of history. In general, it was just a really interesting and amazing experience,” said McLaughlin ‘20. She explained how excited she was to be holding an ancient coin that “belonged to a Roman person hundreds of years ago.”
