New Findings: “CONST”

“We can make out the letters “CONST” on the bottom, and this allowed us to positively identify it to the reign of Constantine the Great,” said Mr. MacFarline. This discovery allowed them to tell how old the coin is from the writing. “I still remember how excited I was when I was able to start sorting through the different letters and images I was seeing on the coin to try and identify it,” said McLaughlin ‘20. The coin was closely examined and researched from the details on it.
