As you stroll into the new Orange Leaf franchise located on Route 101 A in Amherst, NH, two things catch your eye: the vibrant shades of oranges and greens that span the walls, and the friendly faces of Rajiv and Rahul Patel, the father and son duo who own the store. Frozen yogurt is a tasty treat that’s sweeping the nation, and the Patels hope to spread the love seven days a week, one delectable morsel at a time.

Just recently opened on Friday, September 30, the Amherst location is one of six currently in New Hampshire with eight more coming soon. However, no matter where the location, Orange Leaf always serves up crave-worthy cups of frozen yogurt flavors ranging from your standard staples of vanilla and chocolate, to coconut and cookies and cream. But la piece de resistance is most definitely the red velvet flavor. The soft red hue, creamy texture, and perfect red velvet resemblance hits the spot at any hour of the clock and any time of year.

But that’s not the end of this frozen frenzy. After you pour your yogurt through self served dispensers into a cup, you can saunter over to the toppings bar. A colossal countertop with an amazing array of candies, fruits, nuts, and of course, whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Best of all, this cool collation only costs 52¢ an ounce.
