Leadership and Prevention Club paints pumpkins to connect with community
Those who spent their CavBlock in the Life Skills room on Wed. Oct. 30 were treated to a pleasant activity: painting pumpkins. Using pumpkins donated from a local farm, Co-President Lucas Cummings ‘15 organized the activity for the Leadership and Prevention Club to connect even more with the community. “It keeps it simple,” he said. “It’s nice to hang out and have fun, painting pumpkins.”
All of the participants enjoyed themselves, like Aidan Keenan who, when asked if he was having fun, responded with an enthusiastic “Yeah!”

As a class that focuses on hands-on learning, students are able to gain crucial life skills. “[The class] is more hands-on than I thought, and I'm learning way more with physical activities than I do in the classroom,” said student Tess Brown ‘25.](https://cavchronline.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/IMG_8390-e1733078359165-556x600.jpg)
