Results from Tuesday – Oct 8th :

 

Congratulations to the Golf team for finishing the regular season tied for first place with Kennett. The team traveled to Portsmouth where they defeated Kennett (115-106) and Portsmouth (115-84) to finish with a record of 22-3 .Top scorers for HB were Garrett Sturges 35, Grady Sturges 39, Aaron Brown 40, Rory Klauber 42, Cayden Plummer 44 and Matt Dias 46.

 

The Girls Soccer team prevailed in a 3-2 thriller at Milford, avenging their only loss, to move into the top 4 with a record of 8-1-1.  Milford went up 1-0 two minutes in, but HB rallied 7 minutes later when Tasha White sent a long diagonal ball to Rachel Bracket who ripped a drive to far post top corner. Milford took a 2-1 lead into halftime off a late free kick. 5 minutes into the half, Renee LeBlanc was in pressuring the keeper, and the ricochet went to Tasha White who knocked it home from a crowd. With 14 minutes left, White drove hard to the end line and ripped a ball across to Emma Ruvido who finished perfectly for the game winner.  Christina Balsamo had 14 saves against Milford’s superb attack, and was helped by the 80 minute tenacious effort of the back 4 of Nicole Heiter, Abbie Ogren, Amanda Robbins and Paige Mello, fronted by the pressuring Teresa DeMaio and Paisley Broadhurst.

 

The Jv Girls Soccer team won 1-0 again Milford. Sofia Walle with the lone goal. Bella Balsama played tough midfield all game and Catherine MacDonough closed out the shutout in goal.

 

The Boys Soccer team improved to 6-5-1 with a 2-1 victory over Kearsarge. HBHS got on the board first in the 22nd minute with an own goal scored from an HBHS throw in from Bryan Wright. Kearsage’s Peter Russell scored in the 46th minute from Aidan McCullaugh. HBHS’s Bryan Wright scored in the 63rd minute from Liam Troddyn for the game winner. Ryan Coutu made 10 saves in goal. Danny Sattler, Ethan Smith, and Matthew Kelley played well.

 

The Boys JV soccer team hosted a strong Kearsarge team losing the match 3-1. Martin Bergeron scored the Cavs lone goal.

 

The Cross Country teams had a strong showing at the Southern Cluster meet.  The boys team finished 3rd/6 teams and were led by Luke Laborde (9th overall) in a time of 18:28 over the 5K course.  Following him in the scoring positions were: Troy Moscatelli, Ryan Burgher, Jake Laborde, and Ayden Finnegan. The girls team was 4th/6 teams and led by Amy Pattelena, who was second overall in a time of 21:13.  The other team scorers were: Carolyn Hultz, Catherine Donovan, Victoria Rezzarday, and Lily Jackson.

Unified Soccer at Bow , dismissal at 1:45pm, bus at 2pm , game at 3:30pm

 

Volleyball hosts Timberlane , fr -4pm , jv-5;15pm and V at 6pm
