Game Results – Friday 10/11 and Saturday 10/12

Results from Friday/Saturday -Oct.11/12 :

 

The Girls Volleyball team improved to 14-0 with a 3-1 win over Winnacunnet. Scores were 25-20, 25-21, 19-25, and  25-11. Top performers were Kaleigh Whalen 16 kills, Hanna Close 11 kills,

Maren Anderson 9 kills, 14 digs, Angelina Leonard 37 assists, 6 aces and  Sammie Sheppard 20 digs.

 

The Girls Soccer team improved to 9-1-1 with a 4-0 win at Kennett.  Tasha White got things going at 13 minutes, taking a pass from Rene LeBlanc and ripping a long line drive over a very good Kennett goalkeeper.  Rachel Brackett served a cross to Leblanc, who took a nice touch and then beat the nearby keeper to make it 2-0. Just before halftime, Paige Magnuszewski threaded a sharp diagonal ball to Brackett, who on the fly 25 yards out, executed a world class low finish far post.  Early in the second half, Paige Magnuszewski made it 4-0 with a smart follow, up over the keeper. HB’s strong team defense enabled Christina Balsamo to only need two saves for the shutout.  

 

The Boys Soccer team improved to 7-5-1 with a 9-1 won over Kennett. Scoring their first varsity goals were Matthew Wojcik, Josh Ide, Noah Sinclair and Aidan Maguire. Ryan Coutu had 5 saves in goal. The Boys JV soccer defeated Kennett 9-0. The team was paced by outstanding efforts from midfielders Jonah Sacks and Noah Sinclair. Jonah scored one goal and assisted on four others. Striker Jesse Gertz contributed four goals, while Hunter Crea, Riley Callahan, Joe Mahoney and Benny Palmer each scored one goal.  Jackson Koopmen recorded the shutout in net.  

 

The Field Hockey team defeated Pembroke 3-1.

 

The Football team defeated Sanborn 50-0.

The Girls Soccer team hosts Coe-Brown, V at 4pm and Jv at 4:30pm
