Results from Wednesday – Oct. 16th :

 

The Unified Soccer team tied 9-9 against Concord yesterday afternoon.  Riley Allard and Elizabeth Garcia both had a great game.  I would like to recognize our Senior partners Grant Snyder, Josie Farwell, Jessica Hubert, Kylie Krivis, Vero LeBlanc, Grace Straka, Kateri Torgensen, Meghan Veino and Sofia Kotelly.  Thank you for a memorable season.  

 

The Boys Soccer team improved to 8-5-1 with a 2-1 win over Pembroke. Nate McEvoy scored his first varsity goal from 25 yards away from the goal from Max Burns in the 17th minute of the game to put HBHS in the lead.  JJ Kennedy scored on a rebound in the 6 yard box off of a Liam Troddyn shot that came off the crossbar in the 67th minute. Ryan Coutu made 7 saves in goal.Matthew Wojcik played an exceptional game in the back. Max Burns controlled the center of the field and TJ McKenna played great at defensive center mid. 

 

On Wednesday afternoon, the Boys JV Soccer team traveled to Pembroke and came away with a hard fought 2-0 victory.  On a wind blown field, Cavs striker, Joe Mahoney, opened the scoring after receiving a nice pass from Jonah Sacks.  Taking the 1-0 lead into the second half, Owen Damon set up Joe Mahoney for his second goal of the game. Tim Leclerc recorded the shut out.  

 

The Volleyball team improved to 15-0 with a 3-0 sweep over Spaulding. Match scores were 25-10, 25-12 and 25-20. Top performers wereKaleigh Whalen 10 kills, 4 aces,

Angelina Leonard 5 aces, 21 assists, Sammie Sheppard 23 digs and Jessica Cooper 9 digs.In the beginning of the third set, Kaleigh Whalen notched her ninth kill of the night. It was also her 500th career kill.  

 

The Cross Country teams competed at the JV State Championships at Coe-Brown.  Leading the way for the boys was Nathaniel Sartell in a time of 19:59 and 37th overall.  Rounding out the scoring for the boys, who placed 9th out of 12 teams, was Nate Maloney, Matt McLaughlin, Brady Cheyne, and Michael McLaughlin.  On the girls side, Kiyra Weaver finished in 29:36 and 111th overall.  

 

Thursday – Oct. 17th :

 

The Field Hockey team hosts Sanborn V-3:30pm and Jv to follow.

 

The Girls Soccer team hosts Pembroke, V -4pm and Jv at 4:30pm

 

Boys Reserve Soccer travels to Keene, dismissal at 1:30pm, bus at 1:45pm and game at 4pm
