Results from Saturday – January 4th :
The Ice Hockey team lost a tough one 5-4 in OT at Berlin-Gorham. Scoring was led by Sal Vella with 2 goals and Cole Giersch with a goal and an assist while Aidan Row chipped in with a goal, and Jared Sanborn and Aidan Chretien with assists
The Boys Indoor Track team placed 4th in a multi-team meet at UNH. Chase Adams was 1st in the 55m hurdles while Carson Bottomley was 2nd in the 1500m run and Michael Curtin was 2nd in the 55m hurdles.The 4 x 400m relay team of Bottomley,Aidan Maguire,Nathon Maloney and Nate Sartell placed 3rd. On the girls side , Amy Pattelena was 2nd in the 1500m run.
The Bowling team came in 2nd in their Saturday meet against Dover and Raymond. They were defeated by a strong Raymond team in both the Standard and Baker rounds, but put up a strong fight. Senior Nic Vahe bowled well (199, 219) and hit an 8-10 split in the 9th before senior Ben LaFontaine struck out in the 10th frame to win the second Baker game and send it to a third against Raymond. The JVs finished first in standard but second in Baker, losing 2 games to 1 to Raymond. Senior Darius Paradie bowled fantastically in his debut, bowling a 161 & 135.
The Gymnastics team finshed 2nd in a 5 team meet with Oliva Spokane taking 1st in the All-Around competition.
The Girls swim team beat St. Thomas, Laconia, and Spaulding this past Saturday in Portsmouth. Top finishers for the Cavaliers were Ella Cunanan,Mary Martin and
Sarah Zhang. Contributing points to the victory were Meghan Flannery,Hannah Kapiinte, Alex Putney,Tasha White,Paisley Broadhurst and Abbie Ogren.In addition,Joe Coutu and Jonathan Chau performed well and swam their best times.
The Wrestling team traveled to the Saratoga Springs Invitational finishing 13th with the following place winners : Teddy Moscatelli -5th , while Caleb Wilder , Hunter Crea and Hunter Hudzick all placed 6th.
