Results Friday/Saturday/Sunday- January 10/11/12 :

 

The Bowling Team dominated their three team meet against Stevens High School and Dover High School. Both the varsity and JV teams finished first after the standard round and first in Bakers. Bowling well for the Cavs Varsity were Jake Webb (217, 256), Nic Vahe (179, 206), and Ben LaFontaine (165, 244). On JV, Dan Aulbach (211, 172), Tim LeClerc (134, 222), and Cayden Plummer (146, 204) had great days.  

 

The Girls Basketball team improved to 5-0 with a 49-42 win over Bow. Christina Balsamo had 21 pts., Elisabeth Stapelfeld had 9 pts., Amanda Goclowski and Cheyenne Colbert each had 6 pts.

 

The HBDS Ice Hockey team rolled to a win over the Laconia Lakers with  a solid defensive effort all around. HBDS was led by Paul Vachon with 2 Goals and an assist, followed by Assistant Captain Jared Sanborn with one goal and one assist.  Other notable goals by Cole Giersch and Nick Dapilito assisted by Colin MacDonald and Derek Wagner. Of note were two players with two assists each, Assistant Captain, Sal Vella and Defenseman,  Aidan Rowe. Goalie Rylan Morgan was on point, stopping 28 shots on the night! The team improved to 4-1 with the win.

 

The Indoor Track team competed at Plymouth State in a multi team meet with the boys taking 2nd and the girls team taking 8th place. Top performances by the boys were :

 Aidan Maguire 1st 600m , Chase Adam’s 1st 55m Hurdles , Michael Curtin 1st 55m dash , 4×200 relay 1st (Michael Curtin, Chase Adam’s, Nathan Maloney, JJ Kennedy),  JJ Kennedy 3rd 55m dash & 1st Long jump with a jump of 20’3″ , Carson Bottomly 2nd 1500m ,Ryan Burger 6th in 3000m and 4×400 relay 5th (Aiden Maguire, Ryan Burger, nate McEvoy, Nate Sartell). Top performances for the girls were  Amy Pattelena 1st , Carolyn Hultz 3rd 1500m and 4×400 relay 5th (Carolyn, Amy, Madeline, Kail).

 

The Wrestling team finished in 9th place out of 19 teams at the Nashua Hall of Fame Tournament on Saturday.  Both Troy Moscatelli (120) and Henry Burns (182) finished in 3rd place, while Ted Moscatelli (145) and Hunter Hudzik (160) finished in 4th.  

 

The Swim Team had a great meet last Friday night at Londonderry.Qualifying for the State Meet were freshman Ella Cunanan, Mallory Clifton and senior Mary Martin.

The 400 freestyle relay of Cunanan, Clifton, Martin and Sarah Zhang beat all teams and posted a seasons best time.Great performances were turned in by Victoria Rezzarday (backstroke) , Chiara Cross ( 500 freestyle) and Joe Coutu (100 freestyle).  

 

The Boys Basketball team fell to 2-2 with a 66-52 loss on the road to Bow. Sander Wimmer finished with 11 pts, Grant Snyder had 10 while Matt Dias chipped in 8 pts.The jv’s also lost.
