Results from Friday/Saturday – Jan.31st /Feb 1st :

 

The Bowling teams (V and JV) dominated the competition on Saturday in a 3 team match up against Sanborn and Hillsborough Deering. Both teams took first in both standard and Baker play.

Bowling well for the Cavs today were Ben LaFontaine (253, 237), Zach Sommer (222, 198), Jake Webb (195, 211), and Tim LeClerc (190, 193). Dan Aulbach also bowled a 200 game. 

Next Saturday will be the team’s senior day and we will recognize the 11 seniors we have this year & their record smashing accomplishments over their time bowling for HB. Match begins at 9am at Merrimack 10 Pin.

 

The Girls Basketball team improved to 11-0 with a 62-27 win over the Pembroke Spartans. Christina Balsamo led all scorers with 17 pts. while Amanda Goclowski had 14 and Maggie Crooks chipped in 12 pts. Cheyenne Colbert, Amanda Goclowski and Elizabeth Bonnette had 8 rebounds each.

 

The Boys Basketball team won their 4th in a row with a 88-66 win over the Pembroke Spartans. Grant Snyder led all scorers with 31 pts with Matt Dias adding 21 pts and Max Stapelfeld adding 18 pts. The Cav’s improved to 6-3 on the season with the victory.

 

The Ice Hockey team fell to John Stark by a 4-1 score. The lone score for the Warriors was by Paul Vachon. With the loss the warriors fall to 8-2.

 

The Wrestling team competed in a 26-team tournament in Concord over the weekend.  Teddy Moscatelli led the way for the Cavaliers with a 5th place finish, while Troy Moscatelli, RJ McAdams, and Henry Burns were all a match away from placing.  

 

The Ski team traveled to Sunapee for the Southern NH Ski Championships. The Boys placed 2nd in the Giant Slalom and 3rd in the Slalom while the Girls finished 5th in both Giant Slalom and Slalom. Top finishers in Men’s Giant Slalom were Max Marshall (5th), Braeden O’Connor (9th), Connor Cardin (13th) and Martin Bergeron (14th). Top finishers in Slalom were Ben Palmer (4th), O’Connor (10th), Bergeron (15th) and Cardin (21st). Top finishers in the Women’s Giant Slalom were Catherine Donovan (6th), Lucy Daigle (13th), Anna Ellis (28th), and Kate McElveen (36th). Top finishers in Slalom were Donovan (6th), Ellis (23rd) and McElveen (32nd).

 

The Track team raced in their last regular season meet at UNH with the following highlights :  Michael Curtain 1st 55m dash, Aidan Maguire 3rd 600m, Chase Adams 2nd 55m Hurdles, JJ Kennedy 4th in Long Jump, 4×160 placed 2nd hitting a PR of 1:18.93 (Michael Curtain, Chase Adams, Aidan Maguire, JJ Kennedy) and 4×400 placed 7th (Aidan Maguire, Nate Sartell, Nathan Maloney, Nate McEvoy)

 

Games for Monday – February 3rd :

The Ice Hockey team travels to Kennett, dismissal at 12:15pm, bus at 12:30pm and game at 4:30pm.
