Hollis Brookline Girls Soccer continued their drive into the playoffs, improving to 11-4-1 with a 4-0 win over visiting Oyster River on Senior Night.
Senior Sofia Walle (1 goal) put the Cavs up 1-0 with a spectacular left-footed, full volley of Senior Rachel Brackett’s corner kick, up and over the keeper. Brackett (1 goal, 1 assist)scored 4 minutes later by taking a pass from Senior Sophie Warren (1 assist) and slotting it into the corner. In the second half, freshmen Mckenna Maguire (1 goal, 1 assist) and Lily Bouchard (1 goal, 1 assist) combined with each other to give the Cavs the 4-0 win. Senior Maggie Crooks had 1 save, but it was a gorgeous high catch at the post, to preserve the first half two-goal lead. Other seniors for HB are Amanda Robbins, Abbie Ogren, Bella Balsam, Catherine McDonough, Nicole Heiter, and Peyton Arbogast. This was a full team win against a quality opponent, and special mention should be given to Madeleine Boudreau for marking Oyster River’s incredibly talented, high-scoring forward.

Games for Friday – October 22nd:

The Boys Soccer teams wrap up their regular season when they travel to Oyster River, bus at 2:45 pm with Jv game at 5 pm and the V at 7 pm.

The Football team hosts St. Thomas at 7 pm. The theme for the game is THINK PINK. Wear Pink and come support the team. Proceeds will go to Pink Revolution of NH for cancer awareness.

The Volleyball teams host Goffstown in the last game of the regular season with Jv-B at 4 pm, Jv-A at 5:15 pm and V at 6:30 pm.

Games for Saturday – October 23rd :

The JV-A Volleyball team will compete in the JV Tournament hosted by HB, with a start time of 8 am.

The JV-B Volleyball team will travel to Salem to compete in the Salem Jamboree VBTrn. , bus at 7:15am, games start at 9 am

Games for Sunday – October 24th :

The Boys Soccer team will compete in the Nashua South Soccer Jamboree, bus at 7:30 am, first games at 8 am.

The Cheer team will compete at the Cheer Madness, hosted by Nashua North, bus at 8:30 am and meet at 10 am
