Results from Thursday – January 13th

In Boys Basketball, Joe Mahoney hit a crucial 3 pointer from the corner and then hit 4 for 4 free throws in overtime to lead Hollis-Brookline to a 61-55 victory over Hanover High School. HBHS was down 54-50 with 46 left in regulation but stole 3 inbound passes and converted on all 3. Mahoney led the Cavaliers with 18 points. Kaleb Popham played another stellar game scoring 14 and grabbing 8 rebounds. Shane Marcum scored 13 and Andrew Eckman added 10.
 
The Boys JV Basketball team beat Hanover 46-38. The team was led in scoring by Y’arie Ramas with 10 points. Colin Magnuszewski had a good defensive game with 4 steals
 
The Girls Basketball team lost to top-ranked Hanover, 54-34.  Elisabeth Stapelfeld led HB with 20 points while Cheyenne Colbert had 13 rebounds. HB falls to 7-2 with the loss.
 
The JV Girls Basketball team lost to Hanover 29-36. Ireland Stark, Julia Robbins, and Maggie Noble each scored 7. Bailey Dunn and  Natalie Liston had great defense games.
 
 

GAMES FOR FRIDAY – January 14th :

 
The Ski team travels to Crotched Mountain for their first race of the season, dismissal at 1:15 pm, bus at 1:30 pm, and race at 3 pm.
 
 
GAMES FOR SATURDAY – January 14th ;

The Bowling team travels to the Bowlero in Lowell by bus at 8:30 am and the match at 9:30 am.
The Ice Hockey team travels to Berlin, bus at 1:30 pm and game at 6 pm.
The Boys Basketball teams travel to Merrimack Valley, bus at 8 am, JV game at 10 am, and V game at 11:30 am.
The Girls Basketball teams host Merrimack Valley, JV’s at 11 am, and the Varsity at 12:30 pm.
