Results from Friday/Saturday/Sunday – Jan 21/22/23

The Boys Ski team placed 1st among Division II teams and 2nd overall among 10 teams. The top finishers were Ben Palmer[5th], Martin Bergeron (11th), Mason Marshall (17th), Aiden Cahill (22nd), Ben St. John (23rd), and Jason Babcock ( 26th).
The Girls Ski team finished 8th out of 9 teams. Top performers were Annette Schlunk (5th) , Miranda Bergeron ( 43rd), and Natalya Onishuk ( 58th).
The Hollis Brookline-Derryfield Warriors improve to 6-2 on the season, defeating Kearsarge/Plymouth 5-2. Goal scorers for the warriors were  Paul Vachon with one goal and an assist, Alex Gertz with one goal, Jesse Gertz with a goal and 2 assists, Kyle Sanborn with one goal, and Conor Sanborn with the Game winner.

The HB Wrestling team went 1-1 in a multi-team meet against Division I teams at Nashua South this weekend.  The Cavaliers beat Pinkerton by a score of 45-19 and dropped their first loss of the season to Nashua South 49-26.  HB will be back to Division II action at Merrimack on Wednesday night at 7 PM.
On Saturday, the HB bowling teams traveled to Claremont to compete in a 4 team meet against Stevens, BG, & Raymond. They placed 4th overall in both standard and baker play. Bowling well for the Cavs was Travis LaFontaine (220, 278). The JVs placed 3rd in the standard round and 4th in bakers. It was a consistent team effort today by all 5 freshmen bowlers: Jackson Kolb, Kathleen Wilkish, Chloe Gisetto, Adriana Rosen & Anya Pendergast,
In Boys Basketball action, Bishop Brady outscored Hollis-Brookline 19-7 in the 3rd quarter to break open a 3 point halftime lead and cruised in the final frame to a 62-46 victory over the Cavaliers. Kaleb Popham led HBHS with 11 points and 5 rebounds.  Andrew Eckman and Joe Mahoney each scored 8 points for the Cavaliers who travel to Sanborn on Monday night.
The Gymnastics team competed in two meets and finished 3rd in both of them.

The Girls Basketball teams host Sanborn, JV at 4;30pm, and V at 6 pm.

The Boys Basketball teams travel to Sanborn, bus at 2:45 pm, JV at 4:30 pm, and V at 6 pm
