Results from Thursday – Feb 3rd

The Girls Basketball team wrapped up their regular season on the road at Milford and came away with a 62-41 win over the Spartans. Elisabeth Stapelfeld and Cheyenne Colbert tied for high scoring with 24 points each. Amanda Robbins had 8 points. Daniella Allanach had 4 points for the Cavs who are now 13-4 in D2. The Cavaliers will next compete on Wednesday, 2/9/22, at 7 pm when they host an opponent yet to be determined

The Boys Basketball team lost to Milford, 65-52, to finish their season at 2-16.  John Kotelly and Joe Mahoney led the Cavaliers scoring with 12 and 10 points respectively.  Hollis-Brookline played hard in their final game of the season with (9) players on the scoring sheet on this special Senior Night.
The Boys JV Basketball team ended their season with a home win against Milford 36-29. It was the team’s strongest defensive performance of the season. Cameron Kump made three critical 3 point shots in the 4th quarter to help the team pull away, and Cam led the team in scoring with 11 points. Bradley Noble had a great game on the boards with 10 rebounds. The team finished the season strong with three straight wins
The HB bowling teams competed in a 4 team meet with Winnacunnet, Stevens, and Sanborn. After the standard round, the HB Varsity team had finished 3rd.  In the Baker round, they lost to Winnacunnet and Sanborn, placing 4th overall. The JVs placed 3rd out of 3 teams after the standard round but beat Winnacunnet in the first round of bakers. They lost in the final round to a very strong Stevens team, placing second overall.
In a battle of the top two teams in Division II, the Wrestling team defeated Bishop Guertin, 44-33. Jameson Keller got the Cavs on the board with a quick pin at 106 while RJ McAdams pinned his opponent at152. Many of our top wrestlers received forfeits including Caden Bruseo (113), Hunter Crea (138), and Colin McGeary (145). Two huge wins were recorded when Ethan Bender defeated his strong opponent at 170 by a score of 5-2 while Justin Colby defeated his opponent at 195, by a score of 9-8 to seal the win for the Cavaliers.
Games for Saturday – Feb. 5th :
The Bowling team competes in a multi-team event at the Merrimack Ten Pin at 9:00 am
The Wrestling team travels to Timberlane, bus at 7:45 am, meets at 10 am. The Cavs will also wrestle Nashua North.
The Ice Hockey team hosts John Stark – Hopkinton at 4:20 pm at Conway Arena in Nashua.
