Results from Saturday – Feb 5th + Upcoming Games

The HBD ( HollisBrookline-Derryfield) Ice Hockey team beat John Stark 7-1 to improve to 8-2 on the season. Jesse Gertz led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists. Paul Vachon had two goals while Torin White had a goal and an assist. Also scoring was Jacob Roy who with  Kyle Sanborn and Aidan Rowe each recording an assist. Cavan Quinn stops 21 of 22 shots on goal for the Warriors.

The Hollis Brookline Wrestling team went 1-1 on Saturday, beating Nashua North by a score of 63-16, and falling to Timberlane 58-18.  Caden Bruseo (113), Colin McGarry (138), and Troy Moscatelli (152) each went 2-0 on the day, while Jameson Keller (106), Daniel Frixione (126), Jason DeJoie (132), Hunter Crea (132), RJ McAdams (145), Ryan Mercier (160), Ethan Bender (170), Justin Colby (182), and Ethan Strauss each won a match apiece.
The HB bowling teams competed in a 4 team meet on Saturday against Souhegan, Goffstown, & Dover. The Varsity & JV teams placed 4th after the standard round. Both also placed 4th after the baker round.
Monday and Tuesday – Feb. 7th / 8th:  No athletic events
Wednesday – Feb 9th :
The Girls Basketball team will host ConVal in the preliminary round of the NHIAA Division II Girls Basketball Tournament at 7 pm. There is an admission fee charged by the NHIAA for this event,
 $ 5 -adults and $ 3 for students / senior citizens,
The Ice Hockey team will host Pembroke-Campbell at 8:10 pm at Conway Arena.
Thursday – Feb. 10th :
The Wrestling team will host Goffstown and Manchester West at 7 pm
The Ski team will compete at Crotched Mtn. in the SL race starting at 3:30 pm.
Friday – Feb 11th :
The Ski team will compete at Crotched Mtn. in  Dual GS starting at 4:00 pm (Senior Night)
Saturday – Feb 12th :
 
The Cheer team will compete at the Cheer Madness Competition at Nashua North during session 3 at noon. Attendance at this event is restricted and ticket information is available from the coach.
The Wrestling team will host the Cavalier Classic Dual meet tournament. Wrestling starts in the morning.
The Bowling team travels to Yankee Lanes in Manchester, bus at 8:45 am, match at 10 am.
The Ice Hockey team travels to Merrill Fay Arena in Laconia to skate against  Belmont-Gilford, bus at 2:30 pm and game at 5 pm.
The Gymnastic team travels to the NHIAA State Championships at A2 Gym and Cheer in Salem.
The Swim Team will compete at the NHIAA Division II State Championships in Salem.
