Results from Thursday- May 5th

The Unified Track Team competed in their first meet since 2019. Our athletes and partners all had a phenomenal meet. Jazz Coutermarsh took 1st in the 100 meters with a time of 18.13, with Kyria Weaver- Bartis 2nd at 20.19. Jess Eisenhauer had our top long jump of 6’ 11”. Brendan Nixon threw the shot and put a whopping 12’8”. Athletes- Alyssa Bunker, Jazz Coutermarsh, Jess Eisenhauer, Katelyn Heidel, Brendan Nixon, and partner Gracie Dortona all had excellent times in the 200 meters. Our two 4×100 teams of Kyria Weaver-Bartis, Katelyn Heidel, Morgan, and Jazz Coutermarsh, Gracie Dortona, Jess Eisenhauer, Brendan Nixon, Alyssa Bunker, and Cam Boumil all rocked it. A big thank you to our two partners who attended with us, Cam Boumil and Gracie Dortona.

The Baseball team defeated Hanover 6-2 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Paul Vachon hit into a fielder’s choice to score a run. Charlie Hale earned the win for Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers Varsity. Hale went all seven innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out eight, and walking one. Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers Varsity racked up nine hits. Alex Razzaboni and Torin White all had multiple hits for Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers Varsity.

On Thursday, 5/5/2022, the Boy’s Tennis team won their second match, defeating Kingswood Regional High School 8-1. Number 1 singles player Bryson Giersch won his match 8-5. In a very tough match, Number 2 singles player William Critchfield won 9-7. Number 3 singles player Jason Babcock lost his match in a tie-breaker. Number 4 singles player Simar Sidhu won 8-0. Finn Brown, the Number 5 singles player, won 8-5, and Number 6 singles player Elliot Troddyn won 8-2. The doubles team of Bryson Giersch/William Critchfield won their match in a tie-breaker. The doubles teams of Jason Babcock / Hayden Smith won 8-2. The number 3 doubles team of Simar Sidu/Elliot Troddyn won 8-0.
