Results from Monday- May 9th

The Girl’s Tennis team swept Pembroke, 9-0. Match scores were Keira Swart (8-0), Abby Coolidge ( 8-6), Katie Bauer (8-0), Mikayla Coolidge (8-2), Annalise Walle (8-3),
Peyton Arbogast (8-1), Keira/Katie (8-2), Abby/Mikayla( 8-1) and Peyton/Sophia Warren( 8-4). With the win, the girls improve to 5-5.

The Boys Lacrosse team defeated Alvirne, 9-7. The top performers were Tommy Anderson: 1 goal, Ben Petrella: 1 assist, Grover Farwell: 1 goal, Jackson Cikota: 1 assist 3 gbs.
Braden Treacy: 1 assist, Ethan Bender: 2 goals 1 assist, Connor Cook: 2 goals 1 assist, Ben Dufoe: 3 goals, and Andrew Torgersen: 1 assist. Justin Colby was 20 for 20 on face-offs, while Tucker Luter had 9 saves in goal.

The Baseball team improved to 9-0 with a 10-1 win on the road at Kingswood. Jack Lager pitched 5 innings allowing three hits and one run, striking out seven, and walking zero. Zak Lussier threw two innings in relief, striking out three. Paul Vachon 2/3 3B 2 RBI, Aiden Dufoe 2/4 2B 1 RBI, and Charles Hale led the way on offense. Hale reached base in all 4 at-bats going 2/2 with an RBI.

The Girls Lacrosse team improved to 8-2 with a 16-5 win over Timberlane. The top performers were Alyssa Hill – 3 goals, 4 assists, Ireland Stark – 4 goals, 2 assists, and Paige Mello – 4 goals.1 assist, Abbie Ogren – 2 goals, 1 assist, Sabrina Hill – 1 goal, 2 assists, Cailean Roy – 1 goal 1 assist, and Bella Haytayan- 1 goal. Ireland Stark & Cailean Roy combined for 10 draw controls. Nicole Heiter led with interceptions and ground balls. Hallie Bardani was solid in the net with 10 saves. JV played a good fight and came up a bit short, losing 5-6.

The Volleyball team improved to 7-1 with a 3-game sweep of Winnacunnet, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-16, and 25-22. The top performers were Aidan Norris, 12 kills, 3 aces,
John Sommer 9 kills, Luke Laborde, 4 aces, 3 blocks, Ethan Norris 21 assists, 4 blocks, and Dan Sattler 9 digs.

The Softball team battled strong for 9 innings against Kingswood but fell 10-9 to the Knights. Kailey disco pitched 3 innings with 6 strikes and outs and hit a triple and single with one RBI. Austyn Kump pitched 6 innings with 10 strikeouts and had an RBI single (strikeout total 233). Emily Tebbetts had 2 RBIs. Savannah Duquette had two RBIs and a triple. Ava Imbrogno, Abigail Guay, and Emily Sartell each had a single. Megan park had 2 RBIs. Well fought game by both sides!

The JV Baseball team lost to Kingswood, 12-2. The Cavs fell behind early and couldn’t come back as they struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Kingswood, giving up 12 runs while walking 10 Batters. HBJV had seven hits in the game. Jonah Winsor and Joshua Wilson each had multiple hits for HBJV. HBJV stole 11 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Wilson led the way with three.
