Results from Friday/Saturday – May 13th/14th

The Unified Track team had a fantastic meet at Nashua North. Katelyn Heidel had a personal best at the 100 & 200-meter races with times of 18.62 & 1.02. Alyssa Bunker, Jess Eisenhower & Kyria Weaver-Bartis all had impressive long jumps. Jazz Courtermarsh, Kyria Weaver-Bartis, Brendan Nixon, and Emily Hinchliffe had a great 4×100 relay with a time of 131.32. Our team partners all ran with our athletes cheering them on the whole day.

The Boys Lacrosse team defeated Bow 14-7. The top performers were Ben Dufoe: 5 goals 2 assists, Jake Roy: 4 goals 2 assists, JP Torgersen: 2 goals 1 assist, Tommy Anderson: 2 assists, Noah Taylor: 1 goal, Ethan Bender: 1 goal, and Connor Cook: 1 goal. Justin Colby won 19 out of 24 face-offs while Tucker Luter had 12 saves in goal.

Padge Mac Seain threw a complete game 1 hitter striking out 14, walking 0, and giving up one unearned run as the Baseball team improved to 10-1 with a 12-1 win over Pelham. Top performers were Alex Razzaboni 3/3 HR 4 RBI, Paul Vachon 2/3 2B and Zak Lussier 1/2 3B 2 RBI.

The Softball team had a great day at the plate against Pelham, winning 16-8. Kailey Disco had an RBI single and scored 3 runs herself. Emily Tebbetts had a single and an RBI. Savannah Duquette had a single and scored one run. Austyn Kump went 4 for 5 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and 4 RBIs. Ava Imbrogno had 2 singles and scored one run herself. Ally Johnson had a single and scored 2 runs herself. Meg Park had 3 singles and 4 RBIs. Abigail Guay had an RBI double, and Emily Sartell had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.
Ally Johnson pitched 7 innings with 8 strikeouts and allowed 6 hits.

This Saturday, the Track and Field team faced off against Milford, Campbell, and Conval at Milford. Both teams placed third with a mostly underclassmen crew due to prom. Freshman Ben Hoesch was 2nd in the 100m dash with a new personal record of 11.84. Also setting a new personal record was Ryan Burgher, who won the 800 meters in 2:04.16. Marcus McCammack had a strong day winning the triple jump and placing 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles. The girl’s team was led by Sophomore Clair Ballou, who won the 100 and 300-meter hurdles and then joined Annika Bergin, Brianna Buckland, and Elizabeth Snoke for a runner-up finish in the 4×400 meter relay.

On Friday, the Boy’s tennis team got off to a quick start against Souhegan, winning the first 2 singles matches thanks to victories by Number 1 singles player Bryson Giersch (8-6) and Number 2 singles player William Critchfield winning his match 8-4. However, Souhegan ‘would go on to win the match 7-2 as Hollis-Brookline could not find a way to win any other matches. Number 3 singles player Hayden Smith lost 3-8. Number 4 singles player Jason Babcock played well but lost his match 4-8. Number 5 singles player Fin Brown lost 0-8, and Number 6 singles player Elliot Troddyn lost 1-8. The doubles team of Bryson Giersch/William Critchfield lost their match 5-8. The doubles teams of Jason Babcock/ Hayden Smith lost 2-8. The number 3 doubles team of Elliot Troddyn / Finn Brown lost 0-8.
