Results from Thursday- May 19th

The Girls Lacrosse team traveled to Bromfield, MA,  where they lost to the once-beaten Trojans 14-6. The top performers were  Ireland Stark – 2 goals, Cailean Roy – 1 goal.
Abbie Ogren – 1 goal, Alyssa Hill – 1 goal, Bella Haytayan – 1 goal, and  Sabrina Hill – 2 assists. Hallie Bardani had 10 saves in goal.
The Boys Lacrosse team defeated Hanover on the road by a score of 11-8. The top performers were Jake Roy: 3 goals, Tommy Anderson: 1 assist, Colin Corban: 2 goals 1 assist,
Ethan Bender: 2 goals 2 assist, Connor Cook: 2 goals, JP Torgersen: 1 goal, Ben Dufoe: 1 goal 2 assists, and  Justin Colby: 1 assist and won  17/22 face-offs. Tucker Luter had 9 saves in goal.
The Boys Tennis team lost their final home match to St Thomas Aquinas 3-6.  Number 1 singles player Bryson Giersch lost his match 6-8. Number 2 singles player William Critchfield found his consistency with his serve and won his match 8-2.  Normally the 5th singles player, Jason Babcock, had to move up two spots and played as the Number 3 in singles. In his first match as the number 3 singles player, he won a thriller 9-7.  Number 4  singles player Finn Brown lost his match 1-8. Number 5 singles player Elliot Troddyn lost 0-8. Hollis Brookline had to forfeit the Number 6 singles match.  The doubles team of Bryson Giersch/ Elliot Troddyn lost their match 2-8. The doubles teams of Jason Babcock/  William Critchfield won their match 8-3.  The short-handed HB Team had also to forfeit the number 3 doubles. Hollis-Brookline’s final game of the year is scheduled for Friday, May 20th, at Coe-Brown.
