Results from Friday/Saturday – May 20th/21st

The Boys Volleyball Team improved to 10-2 with a 3-1 win over Dover by scores of 25-23, 25-15, 23-25, and 25-10. The top performers were Jake Laborde’s 27 kills, 4 aces, Bradley Noble’s 13 kills, Ethan Norris’s 47 assists, and Dan Sattler’s 24 digs.
On Friday, the Boys Tennis Team traveled to Coe Brown for their final match of the year.  With only 4 members of the team available to play, the team did their best but would lose the match 0-9.  The highlight of the match was the number one doubles team of William Critchfield and Jason Babcock coming back from an 0-6 start and battling back hard to fall a little short 6-8.  In the other doubles match, Finn Brown and Elliot Troddyn lost 1-8. William Critchfield lost his singles match 4-8.  The boys finished the season 2-12 and have all but Senior Hayden Smith returning next year.
The Girls Tennis team wrapped up their regular season with an 8-1 win over St. Thomas and a record of 7-7. Match scores in singles were Keira Swart won 8-1, Anuhya Chilakapati won 8-1, Abby Coolidge won 8-2, Katie Bauer lost 6-8, Annalise Walle won 8-1, and  Mikayla Coolidge won 8-1. Doubles match scores were Keira/Anuhya  won 8-1,
Abby/Mikayla lost 8-0, and Annalise/Katie won 8-5.
The Track & Field team competed at ConVal against 10 teams for their final regular-season meet.  The Boy’s team finished a strong second behind Bow. The Girls team was 6th., Standout performers for the boy’s team included event winners John Kotelly (Triple Jump, 400m.), Ryan Burgher (800m), Michael Bauer (1600m.), and the boys 4×400 meter relay team of John Kotelly, Henry Bruneau, Titus Tieman, and Ryan Burgher.  Ben Hoesch also nabbed second in the 100m. and 200m. and Marcus McCammack was 2nd in the triple jump and 3rd in the 300 hurdles. Standout performers for the girl’s team included Claire Ballou, 3rd in the 300m. hurdles and 4th in the 100m. hurdles, and Brianna Buckland, who was 3rd in the 400m dash.
