From the Filet Mignon to the Yucca Fries, The Lost Fire Bar & Grill—a staple for anyone traveling to Kennebunkport, ME—provides an immersive experience of a true authentic Patagonian SteakHouse. 

To anyone who dines there, it feels like you are really on a tropical vacation to get some sun on your skin. The most popular item is the filet mignon steak with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Although this may seem like an average American-style dinner, the flavors involved in making this dinner add a smidge of Patagonian style and culture, from a chimichurri sauce on the steak and green bean sprouts that adorn the top of the steak that you can see. 

A review on Trip Advisor describes how the food was “ample” and “plenty” of food to feed an entire family, with even just little portions of food. The reviewer also describes how the empanadas were their favorite with the three flavor combinations being enough for everyone to have one they would enjoy. As someone who ordered the empanadas, the chipotle shredded chicken created a sweet-tasting sensation in my mouth, with a chipotle kick at the end. 

However, one reviewer on Open Table said that “considering the price of the meal, we expected a delicious experience, but were disappointed.” It is important to keep the perspectives of all diners in mind when eating at a restaurant, but for this specific location, I would let all that go.
