G. Otcha, Foolin' peeps since 1986

An illustrious career over.

After winning his historic fourth super bowl, Tom Brady decided to hang up the cleats, making the decision to retire on vacation in Costa Rica. Tom Brady’s story will go down in history, as he was the 199th pick in the 2000 draft, picked by the New England Patriots. Brady won three Super Bowls in four years making the New England Patriots a dynasty. He won his fourth super bowl this past February at University of Phoenix Stadium defeating the Seattle Seahawks in dramatic fashion.

Brady told ESPN, NFL Network and 98.5 the Sports Hub that, “I have had a great career, football is very important to me but it’s time to move on and enjoy time with my beautiful wife and kids. I want to thank all of Patriots Nation for their tremendous support. I am retiring because I feel it’s the right thing to do for me and my family. I’m going out on top, it is still good to know that Peyton Manning will never come close to my Super Bowl records and my historic career. It feels great knowing that I will always be so much better than him.”

This is truly a sad day in New England. The Patriots now turn to untested and inexperienced backup Jimmy Garoppolo in his second season in the NFL. It stinks to know this is what it will feel like when TB12 retires.
