Sam Hayes 21’ is a senior at Hollis-Brookline High School, and a writer for the Cavalier Chronicle. Hayes is an avid artist, drummer, and reader. Apart from all things artistic, Sam loves researching and writing about political or environmental topics, yet tends to be averse to writing about anything sports related. Sam is a massive fantasy fan, and knows a shameful amount about the extended world of Lord of the Rings. Having also loved comics from a young age, Sam has developed a deep appreciation for writing in all its forms, and has admittedly become more than a bit of a geek in the process. Hoping to eventually have a career in the arts, Hayes will take any opportunity to flex his writing muscles he’s given.
