John Robbins, Contributor
John Robbins is a senior at Hollis Brookline High School. This is his first year in Journalism. He threw discus and javelin for the track and field team and is currently a rower on the school’s crew team. He was also a member of the mechanical subgroup of the First Robotics team 1073 for three years. In his free time, Robbins enjoys watching movies and television, skateboarding, snowboarding, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. During the off season for crew, Robbins is a cook at Gianni’s Pizza and has been making pies for over two years.He has a deep interest in science and technology and is aspiring to go to school in Boston and become a mechanical engineer. His favorite classes are math and social studies. Robbins has always had an interest in journalism from sports writing to science and tech news. He hopes that Journalism will teach him the skills to become a better writer.
