The volleyball team started off their season with a 3-0 win over Keene by the scores of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-12. Top performers were Kyra Belden 7 aces, Maddie Norris 12 kills, Elizabeth Atkinson 11 kills, Maren Anderson 2 blocks and Sammie Sheppard 9 digs. Congratulations to Coach Balfour for her 350th career win! The JV – A and JV – B teams also won.

The JV football team lost to Windham 28-19.

The Girls Soccer team defeated Conval (0-5) by the score of 1-0. HB was finally rewarded for sustained possession and finishing with about twenty minutes remaining, when Becca Ide smartly finished a ball provided by Madeleine McCann. Izzy LeBlanc had 5 saves for her first shutout. HB’s margin would have been higher if not for Conval’s Lindsey Carey’s 22 saves The JV’s tied CV, 1-1.

The Girls XC team finished 3rd out of 13 teams while the Boys XC team finished 5th out of 16 teams. Finishing in the top 25 were Kenny Corsetti – 3rd, Kay Partridge-5th,Lily Jackson-14th, Adam McQuilkin-14th and Megan Cramton-24th.

Games for Wednesday – Sept 6th :

Field Hockey at Goffstown, dismissal at 2pm, bus at 2:15pm , varsity at 4pm and JV to follow.
