Games and Results: May 7-8

Results from Monday – May 7th :
The Volleyball team improved to 5-4 with a 3-1 win over Windham. Scores were 25-18 , 22-25,25-13 and 25-21.Top performers were Jonathan Brackett 31 kills,
Matt Simco 8 kills, 7 digs, Scott Van Coughnett 46 assists, Jack Sinclair 15 digs and Patrick Close with 8 blocks. The jv’s also won 2-1.
The Girls Lacrosse team improved to 6-3 with a 17-2 win over Goffstown. Tasha White again dominated at the draw circle with the team winning all 14 draws she took, 9 draw controls on her draws, and added 2 goals and 3 assists. Cece Fetter had 3 goals, 1 assist, and 3 draw controls. Kelsey Sweeney had 3 goals and a team-leading 5 groundballs. Victoria Bruzik had 2 goals, 2 assists. Paisley Broadhurst and Elise Bender each added 2 goals. Caroline Smith, Ari Friedman and Rachel Cerato each had a goal to round out the scoring. Olivia Valentine had 3 saves on a quiet day. Josie Farwell, Abbey Magnuszewski, Brooke Allanach, and Meghan Veino played excellent on both sides of the field.
The Softball team boosted it’s record to 3-4 on the season with a 13-2 win over Bow, lead by 5 RBIs on 3 hits from Delayni Kovalchek. Gabby Paquin picked up the win on the mound for the Cavaliers, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits through 6 innings, with Marisa Brickner coming in to relieve Paquin in the 7th. Along with Kovalchek, Savanna Bent went 3-4 on the day with 2 RBIs, while Isabel Keefe and Cassidy Pigott were each 2-4 from the plate.
The Girls Tennis team lost to a strong Portsmouth team 9-0.
In Baseball action, Joe Brown pitched a complete game gem allowing only 3 hits and striking out 12 while walking only 2. Dan Leone hit a key home run to tie the game in the
bottom of the 6th 2 to 2. The Cavs got 4 in the 6th and Brown shut the door in the 7th against Bow. Kyle Hsu and Max Mello had 2 hits each and Tyler Macdormand had 2 walks for the Cavs.
The Boys Lacrosse team lost to Division I Nashua South , 8-5.
