Results from Friday/Saturday – Sept 7/8:
The Field Hockey team lost to Pelham 8-1. The lone goal was scored by Sofia Barassi assisted by AnnMarie Tremblay .The jv’s won in an exciting game, 1-0, over Pelham.   The lone goal was scored by Elsie Figueroa in the first 4:00 minutes of the game. The cavaliers continued to attack getting over 10 shots on goal.   Kaitlyn Castriotta, Annmarie Tromblay, Savannah Murphy, Larissa Stamm and Hannah Escandon played well for the team. Devon Kuchta had 3 saves in goal.
The Girls Soccer team lost to Souhegan 4-0. The jv’s won 3-1. Goals were scored by  Sofia Walle and Bella Balsama(2). Rachel Delong had some breakaway saves in goal while Kail Arthur and Peyton Arbogast kept pressuring the ball up down the field from multiple positions.
The Boys Soccer team improved to 3-1, with a 1-0 win over Souhegan. The winning goal was scored by Joey Dias on a penalty kick after Ethan Smith was fouled in the penalty box in the 28th minute.  Ryan Coutu had 4 saves in goal. The jv game against Souhegan ended in a 2-2 tie. Joe Mahoney scored early in the first half and Souhegan came back for a 2-1 lead.  We dominated play in the second half and Joe Mahoney scored his second of the game.  Erik Keldsen, Noah Sinclair and Jonah Sacks kept pressure on with shots on net.  Dan Sattler was a top striker, while Matt Kelley and Luke Wang anchored our defense.
The Volleyball team improved to 2-0, with a 3-0 win over Bishop Guertin. Scores were 25-19, 25-10, and 26-24. Top performers were Elizabeth Atkinson 5 kills 1 ace 1 block,
Maddie Norris 12 kills, Hanna Close 3 kills, Kyra Belden 26 assists 3 aces, and Ellie Jordan 8 digs. Special congratulations to Elizabeth Atkinson who earned her 500th kill in the game. The JV-B team won 2-1.
The Football team traveled to Hanover for a 7pm game under the lights. After trailing 14-0 at the half, the Cavaliers came roaring back to tie the game at 14-14 with 8 minutes left on TD runs by Brandon Iodice and Sander Wimmer, Hanover scored the winning TD with 5 minutes left in the game to drop the Cav’s to 1-1.
The Cross-Country teams hosted the 10 team Coach K ( Korcoulis) Invitational meet on Saturday. The Boys and Girls teams both finished 8th and were led by the following runners : Kenny Corsetti- 12th , John Kotelly -21st , Jacob LaBorde-45th , Amy Pattelena-23rd,Kay Partridge-29th and Catherine Donovan -48th.
