Results from Friday/Saturday -Sept 14th/15th :
Girls Volleyball team  defeated Keene, 3-0, to improve to 5-0 and was also the 300th career win in 18 seasons of play. Team match scores were 25-10, 25-15,and 25-14. Top performers were Hanna Close 5 aces 5 kills 5 digs, Elizabeth Bonnette 5 aces 1 kill 5 digs,Angelina Leonard 4 aces 7 assists, Brodie Kelly 2 kills and Jess Cooper 2 aces 4 digs.
The Football team defeated ConVal 42-0 to improve to 2-1 on the season.
The Girls Soccer team improved to 4-1-1 with a tough win over visiting Conval ( 2-2-1).  The game’s only goal came with 20 minutes remaining as Sarah Birch slotted away a penalty kick.  HB had plenty of opportunity, requiring Conval’s keeper to make 17 saves.  HB keeper Maggie Crooks (6 saves)  had the play of the game in late going, going high in a crowd at far post to catch and hold a superb free kick from Conval.  Teresa DeMaio, Paisely Broadhurst, Maddy Harley and Emma Ruvido worked hard to control the midfield, while Tasha White and Rachel Brackett took control up front to preserve the win.
The Field Hockey team  lost 1-0 in overtime to Milford. Abbie Fitzgerald stopped 16 shots in regulation and stopped 6 in OT. Sofia Barassi lead the offense with 3 shots on net and Gabby Paquin played a strong midfield. Jordan Mazzola played a strong defense with an awesome save at the goal line.
The Jv Field Hockey team lost 1-0. The team played very well and was lead by excellent performances by Savannah Murphy, Ishita Rao,  Allie Wood, Kaitlyn Castriotta.  Supported by defender Lilly Ogren, new to goal, Larissa Stamm with 7 saves.
The Boys Soccer team defeated Kingswood 4-1 to improve to 5-1 on the season. Scoring goals for the Cav’s were Kyle Simpson ,  Ethan Smith ,  Joey Dias and  Aidan Chretien.

 Danny Kennedy, Josh Ide, and Liam Troddan contributed to the victory over Kingswood.

The Boys JV soccer team played a complete game on Saturday evening defeating Kingswood by the score of 7-0.  Paced by a 3 goal performance from Joe Mahoney, the team rallied around first half goals by Joe, Liam Baldwin, and Jonah Sacks.  Going into the second half leading 3-0, the team showed unselfish and sportsman-like play.  Noah Sinclair scored after a long clearing kick by goalkeeper Jackson Koopman.  Danny Sattler and Luke Wang supported the overall effort and Ram Senthilkumar drew a loud cheer with his first goal to close out the game.

The JV Football team travels to Con-Val  , dismissal at 2pm , bus at 2:15pm game at 4pm
Volleyball @ Dover , dismissal at 2pm, bus at 2:15pm , jv game at 5pm , V game at 6:15pm
