Results for Wednesday – Sept 19th :

The Girls Soccer team (4-2-1) dropped a heart breaker at Bow (6-1) in the final seconds of double overtime.
While Bow dominated early play, HB worked hard to match the pace.  At 35 minutes, Bow went up 1-0 with a goal in the top corner.  HB equalized midway through the second half, as Rachel Brackett (1 assist) took a corner kick, and Maddie Harley (1 goal) found the right touch to finish through a Bow defender.  Both teams attacked well during the overtimes, but Bow had a late corner kick, and found the touch in a busy goal area with seconds remaining.  Maggie Crooks (16 saves) was spectacular in goal, including a stunning post dive on a direct kick during overtime. This was a superb team effort in a very entertaining game.
