[Duffy] is a 14+ year old Beagle Terrier mix. He was rescued from a shelter in the south after hurricane Katrina and moved to NH where he immediately learned to love the snow. A great hunter in his former days, Duffy now spends his retirement years (he's nearly 100 in dog years after all) dreaming of those good ole days - barking, twitching and moving his legs in his sleep. Duffy has the eerie ability to sleep with his eyes open, which may be a defense against our granddaughter sneaking up on him while he sleeps.
