The Cross Country teams participated at the Jeri Blair Invitational at Belmont high school.  The boys team placed 5th out of 16 teams and the girls were 7th out of 10 teams.  Leading the boys was Troy Moscatelli, who finished 20th.  The other scoring runners were: Luke Laborde, John Kotelly, Ryan Burgher, and Jake Laborde.  The girls were led by Amy Patellena, who finished 14th overall. The other scorers were: Carolyn Hultz, Lily Jackson, Victoria Rezzarday, and Shandi Fetter.

The Girls Soccer team improved to 7-1-1 with a 3-0 win at Pelham’s homecoming.  HB created many opportunities from continuous possession, and at 11 minutes Paige Magnuszewski lofted a shot over the keeper and under the crossbar , assisted by Emma Ruvido.  Renee LeBlanc made it 2-0 just before the half, taking a Rachel Bracket pass and going hard at the keeper near post.  HB went up 3-0 early in the second half when Rachel Bracket threaded a fine pass through a crowded seam for Renee LeBlanc’s one touch finish.  Christina Balsamo stood sting in goal with 4 saves.  Nicole Heiter led a strong defense, allowing the entire roster time for creative play going forward.

The Boys Soccer team lost to undefeated ConVal , 3-1. Scoring for HB was JJ Kennedy from Max Burns in the 46th minute.  Ryan Coutu made 8 saves in goal. HB record is now 5-5-1.

Boys JV Soccer played a tough Con Val team on Friday afternoon and after battling much of the first half,left the field with a 3-1 loss.  Jonah Sacks scored the team’s only goal.  Hunter Crea, Noah Sinclair,and Alex James were standouts for the Cavs.

The Volleyball team improved to 11-0 with a 3-0 sweep over Manchester Memorial . Scores were 25-12, 25-18, and 25-21. Top performers were  Sarah Dreyer 9 kills, Jessica Cooper  6 aces, 6 digs, Maren Anderson 5 kills and  Ellie Jordan  3 aces, 5 digs.

The Football team fell to 3-2 with a 20-15 loss to Pelham. Scoring touchdowns for HB were Sander Wimmer and Marc -Andre Thermitus.
