       The new guidelines for COVID-19 have led to a drastic change in how lunch works at HB. For the people who do not want to eat outside at lunch, the tables in the gym are the only other option. They sit two people at a table at most, and students have to scan where they are sitting. It is up to the students to keep up with logging where they sit or else the school will have to assign lunch seats “Now more than ever students need to practice self management” says Ilingworth.

      After the loss of Kobe Bryant on January 26, 2020, his fans and other basketball fanatics have come together and petitioned to make him the new face of the NBA. “I can see why fans are really pushing to have the logo changed due to how great of a player and a person he was, but I can also see why people would oppose it because there was never any talk about him being the logo before he died and it can’t just keep getting changed every time ‘one of the greats’ die,” said Pender.

      Here at HBHS, this is a typical homework assignment from an AP level class. The amount of homework a student has can have disastrous effects on their health and sleep schedule. “Kids shouldn’t be given more than two hours of homework a day, [preferably] one hour a day outside of school,” said Christina Ellis.

      This remote learning space belongs to Ava Chretien, who just recently switched to remote on the switch day. The setup aids her in continuing to learn just like she would if she was in-person. “As far as education goes, I believe the HBHS teachers have been doing a really good job at keeping remote students involved during classes,” said Chretien.
