Game Results – February Break

Here is a brief summary of the sports action over the break :

 

The Girls Basketball team defeated Kearsarge and Timberlane while losing a close one to Hanover (62-60). They finish the regular season at 16-2 and the # 2 seed in the upcoming Division II Tournament. They will host a first round game on Tuesday at 7pm. The NHIAA charges an admission fee of $3 – students and $5 – adults.

 

The Ice Hockey team defeated Belmont-Gilford and Monadnock then tied John Stark to finish the season at 13-4-1 as the 3 seed. They will host a first round game on Saturday, March 7th at 4pm at Conway Arena. The NHIAA charges an admission fee of $6 – students and $8 – adults.

 

The Wrestling team placed 3rd in the Division II State Championships with two individual champions in Troy Moscatelli (120lbs) and Henry Burns (182lbs). RJ McAdams (138lbs) and Teddy Moscatelli (145lbs) both finished as runner-ups.

 

The  Bowling team competed twice over the vacation week. On 2/22, the #1 seed HB defeated Stevens High School in the quarter final round. In the semi final round, HB lost to the 2020 state Champions, Pinkerton. On 2/29, 10 bowlers represented HB in the individual championships. In the championship flight (top 32 in the state) we had Ben LaFontaine, Nic Vahe, Jake Webb, & Zach Sommer. In the Medal flight (top 33-64 in the state), we had Jarrett Tousignant, Camden Guay, Dan Aulbach, Johny Cadario, & Cole Lorig. Qualifying for the second round was Nic Vahe, Jake Webb, & Zach Sommer. Qualifying for the second round in the Medal flight was Jarrett Tousignant & Camden Guay. Camden Guay won and advanced to the top 8, eventually losing to the #1 seed.

 

The Boys Basketball team defeated Kearsarge, Laconia and Bishop Brady to improve to 13-3 and extend their winning streak to 11 games.

 

 

Games for Monday – March 2nd :

 

The Boys Basketball team travels to Lebanon, dismissal at 1:45pm, bus at 2pm, jv game at 5pm and V at 6:30pm.
