Results from Tuesday – May 17th

The Girls Lacrosse team improved to 10-2 with a 14-10 win over Windham. The top performers were Paige Mello- 5 goals, Ireland Stark- 3 goals, 1 assist, Alyssa Hill – 2 goals, 5 assists, Bella Haytayan – 1 goal, 1 assist, Abbie Ogren – 1 goal, Sabrina Hill – 1 goal and Cailean Roy  – 1 goal. Hallie Bardani had 9 saves in goal. Ireland stark lead in ground ball controls and interceptions with a total of 8. Cailean Roy lead in draw controls with 4
The Baseball team defeated Pelham 22-0 on Tuesday to improve to 11-1 on the season. Charlie Hale got the win, going 5 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits, striking out 10, and walking 1.  He also went 4/4 with 3 RBI.  Freshman Eoin Sheehey (1/1 HR 4 RBI) hit a grand slam home run, and the Cavaliers collected 20 hits in the game. Matthew McLaughlin made the last out in left field and also hit a double.
Today, the Boys Tennis team struggled to lose 0-9 to a very deep and talented Bow High Boys Tennis team.  Number 1 singles player Bryson Giersch who has played strong all year, struggled to find his strokes and adjust to the windy conditions of losing his match 1-8.. Number 2 singles player William Critchfield played well but could not find consistency with his serve and lost his match 5-8.  Number 3 singles player Simar Sidhu lost 1-8.  Number 4 singles player Jason Babcock lost his match 3-8.  Number 5 singles player Fin Brown played well but lost 3-8, and Number 6 singles player Elliot Troddyn lost 1-8.  The doubles team of Bryson Giersch/William Critchfield lost their match 3-8. The doubles teams of Jason Babcock/ Simar Sidhu lost 2-8. The number 3 doubles team of  Elliot Troddyn / Finn Brown lost 1-8.
This afternoon, the Track and Field team competed at the 8 schools’ southern cluster championship meet hosted by Souhegan.  The Boy’s team finished 4th; the Girl’s team was 5th. Event winners included John Kotelly (800m.), Ryan Burgher (1600m.), Amy Patellena (800m.), Claire Ballou (300m. Hurdles), and the boys 4×400 m. the relay team of Henry Bruneau, Titus Tieman, Ryan Burgher, and John Kotelly.  Ben Hoesch, Micheal Bauer, Marcus McCammack, and Rachel Bracket were additional strong contributors.
The Girl’s Tennis Team lost to Bow 5-4. Match scores were:  Keira Swart won 8-3, Anuhya Chilakapati won 8-2, Abby Coolidge won 8-2, Katie Bauer lost 2-8, Emily Frederickson lost 4-8, and Mikayla Coolidge lost 7-9. Doubles scores were Keira/Anuhya won 8-3, Abby/Mikayla lost 5-8, and  Peyton Arbogast/Katie lost 3-8.
The Softball team played a strong game against Pelham at Rivier University Stadium, winning 8-2.  Kailey Disco went 3 for 4 with two singles and a double at the plate. Kailey pitched 7 innings with 17 strikeouts allowing only 3 hits. Emily Tebbetts had a single and an RBI. Savannah Duquette had an RBI. Austyn Kump had two doubles and 4 RBIs. Ava Imbrogno had a single and an RBI. Megan Park had an RBI single. Abby Wallis had a single.
The Boys Lacrosse team lost a close game to Timberlane by a score of 8-6. The top performers were  Jake Roy: 3 goals, Ethan Bender: 2 goals and 1 assist, JP Torgersen: 1 goal, and Andrew Torgersen: 1 assist.  Tucker Luter had 11 saves in goal.
