Chipotle Review

Chipotle Mexican Grill was founded on July 13, 1993, in Denver Colorado. In 1998 McDonald’s made an investment in Chipotle which allowed them to expand to 500 locations. Since then it has expanded greatly.

Chipotle offers a selection of burritos, bowls, quesadillas and tacos. With these foods there is a variety of meats to select from such as barbacoa smoked brisket, chicken, steak, and plant-based chorizo. You can also choose add ons like guacamole, queso, sour cream and different rices and beans. In my opinion the steak is one of my favorite meat options. It is a great and tasty protein option.

Some of the cons that Chipotle has is I haven’t had the best luck with the employees. There have been a couple occasions where the employees seem like they really don’t want to be there but bad days happen. I have just noticed it a couple of times.

Another thing is that they seem to run out of their supplies a decent amount. My friend and I went to Chipotle at 9:30 and they close at 10:00 but they wouldn’t let us in because they were out of ingredients. At one point they handed me my online order and regretted to inform me that they had run out of guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream and they were not going to compensate me for the cost of the guacamole until I went back thinking it may not have been my order.

Lastly another con I see is how they only take cards. Sometimes only taking cards is quite the inconvenience. For me using cash makes it easier to budget and see how much I spend. Not to mention some people don’t have debit cards, or credit cards so in that way I feel they lose business.

Chipotle does have a lot of pros. One of them being the quality of the food. Everytime I go there I am satisfied with what I eat. My usual order is steak, white rice, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce. Sometimes I’ll switch to chicken if I don’t feel like steak.

Another pro is the atmosphere. The dining area doesn’t feel like you are at a fast food place and feels like you are dining in somewhere.

The last pro is online ordering. It is so convenient to just hop right on the app and plug in your order and then just grab it and leave. The app is easy and very organized to use.

Chipotle is a great place to eat if you are looking for something quick and savory. Your money is being put to good use when you buy something from here.
