Meet of Champion Track results :
Evan Porter capped his fine senior season by finishing 11th in both the 110m and 300m hurdle races at the Meet of Champions. The girls 4x800m relay of Emilie Newsham, Pauline Zimmermann, Madylin Partridge, and Sarah Cramton finished 5th, earning a spot for the New England Championship meet in Saco, ME next Saturday.
The Softball team played a great game against the Sanborn Indians. Despite their hard fought effort, they lost 2-1. Ashley Skey pitched well for HB giving up 7 hits, 2 runs, and 1 walk. At the plate, the Cavs hit well, but the Sanborn defense was strong. Ashley Skey had a double and two walks, while Victoria Sargent, Kenzie Day, and Stephanie Buchanan each had one hit each. Sanborn’s catcher, PJ Ross, had a solo home run in the bottom of the 6th for the win.
The Boys Lacrosse team lost to # 2 Goffstown 14 – 5 .
