Results from Friday and Saturday: October 2nd and 3rd

The Field Hockey team lost to ConVal 2-1. The JV team tied 0 – 0.
The Girls Soccer team lost to Goffstown 1-0. Olivia Clegghorn had 6 saves in goal. The JV team won 3-0.
The Boys Soccer team lost to Goffstown 3-2.Can Tulley and Jonathan Brackett scored first half goals to give HB a 2-1 lead at half but surrendered 2 early second half goals to fall to 1-7-1 on the season in a hard fought contest. Brackett also assisted Tulley’s goal. Nick Wood made 5 saves for HB who put in a good performance against the Grizzlies. JV’s  won 1-0 with the goal by Jack Aldana-Proulx, great defense by Ian Babcock, Brendin Meinhart, Jasraj Sidhu, Andrew Kotarski, and Felix Yang. Great work in net by Caleb Russell for his third shut out of the season
The Volleyball team improved to 7-3 with a 3-2 win over Goffstown. Scores were 23-25,25-23,25-21,9-25 and 15-13. Maddy Blake had12 kills,Sierra Dinman had 3 aces,Lex Chilton had 2 aces and
Kaitlyn Johnson had 2 blocks.  JVA won 2-1 while JVB lost 2-1
The Football team lost 17 – 13 to John Stark.
The GirlsCross-Country team placed 1st while the Boys placed 2nd at the ConVal Invite. The girls squeaked out a 1 point victory in the meet with the final score being Hollis Brookline 35, Conval 36, John Stark 55, and Sanborn. Madilyn and Kay Partridge who finished 2nd and 3rd with times of 21.37 and 21.42. Strong efforts were also turned in by Megan Cramton 7th, Lauren Cole 11th and  Emma Bruseo 12th finishing out the scoring for Hollis Brookline.
The boys finished second to Conval with the final score being Conval 25, Hollis Brookline 46, John Stark 71, and Sanborn 95.  Evan Simonds was the top finisher for Hollis Brookline taking 9th place in 19:36. Patrick Bloniasz, Matthew Hutchinson, Kyle Hsu, Tucker Wood, finished out the scoring for Hollis Brookline.
