#10 “The Miracle in Motown” The game appeared to be over until flags began to rain on the field with no time left due to a face mask penalty against the Lions giving Green Bay one last shot. Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers hit tight end Richard Rodgers for a 61-yard touchdown to end the game in Detroit.

#9 “Bautista’s Bomb”After one of the most questionable calls in MLB history, the Texas Rangers tied the game 3-3 until Jose Bautista crushes a long go-ahead three-run homer in the 7th inning of ALDS Game 5. (Unreal bat flip)

#8 “The Punt” All Michigan had to do was get this punt off and it would hand Michigan State its first lost of the season. Instead, an unfathomable play handed the Wolverines the 27-23 loss when a bad snap resulted in a devastating loss.

#7 “Classic Finish for the Caps” On the first day of 2015 the Washington Capitals and Chicago Blackhawks played at Nationals Park in the Winter Classic. With 12.9 seconds remaining in a 2-2 tie, Capitals forward Troy Brouwer scores the game winning goal.

#6 Spieth’s New Jacket” In 2015 the world said hello to Jordan Spieth who won the Masters, U.S Open and the PGA Championship in the same season. Spieth became the youngest golfer to win both the US Masters and US Open in the same year. It was his win in the 2015 Masters that had people talking the most because he became the youngest player to lead from start to finish.

#5 “Curry Killing the Cavs” Golden State Warriors superstar, Steph Curry’s 2015 season was unbelievable. He won the NBA Championship, MVP of the league and lead the team to a record 24-0 start the next season. The most notable part of his successful season was his dominance in the NBA Championship against the Cleveland Cavaliers.  

#4 “Blackhawks Dynasty” The Chicago Blackhawks won their 3rd Stanley Cup in five years securing an NHL dynasty. The Blackhawks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in 6 games in the 2015 Stanley Cup finals.

#3 “Lloyd Leads the U.S” USA beat Japan 5–2 in the final of the 2015 World Cup, claiming their third Women’s World Cup title and their first since 1999. Carli Lloyd scored three goals in 16 minutes, including one from 56.9 yards out, achieving the fastest hat-trick from kick-off in World Cup history.

#2 “American Pharoah is Finally the One” American Pharoah, the American Thoroughbred racehorse who broke the 37 year drought and won the triple crown. American Pharoah became the 12th horse in history to win the triple crown.

#1 “Malcolm Butler XLIX Game Winning Pick” The most watched program in American television history lived up to the hype. On the final drive, trailing 28-24 with little time remaining, the Seahawks drove the ball down to the 1 yard line. With half a minute to go, Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson threw a pass which was intercepted by rookie free agent, Malcolm Butler. The interception ended the game giving the Patriots their 4th Superbowl title.
