Bear Watch at HBHS
May 12, 2016
Last week, administrators spotted a bear roaming around closely outside the building. The staff made an effort to keep all students safe and sound within the school. The bear left the grounds soon after arriving without making any disturbances, going unnoticed by many of the students and staff in the building.
Because AP testing was taking place in the mini gym, the regular bear watch announcement could not be made to notify the school. Instead, Principal Barnes and the administrators sent out an email notification to all teachers. This is the second bear sighting within the last year at the high school.
