Alex Tisa, Head Editor

Alex Tisa is a senior at Hollis-Brookline High School and head editor for the Hollis-Brookline CavChron.  Alex is a first year member of CavChron, and is excited to see what he can bring to the table. Outside of journalism he has many interests, including music and reading. Alex is a member of Hollis-Brookline’s Guitar Night Club, which he participates in each year, and a member of the Hollis-Brookline football team. In college, Alex wishes to pursue a career in business or political science.

A class at HB being taught over Zoom. This year has forced teachers to be adaptive and innovative in order to tailor their classes to remote environments. “I think teaching online can make you a better teacher. You have to be crystal clear with where you want to go, what learning experience will help students develop skills, and you have to be really, really organized, and think ahead all of the time.” said Illingworth.
