Allie Campbell, Staff Writer
Allie Campbell is a junior this year at Hollis Brookline High School. She lives in Hollis with her parents, younger sister, and dog. Allie loves ballet, and trains with Southern New Hampshire Dance Theatre as a member of the Youth Ballet. She takes classes for several hours almost every day, including Saturdays, and rehearses for upcoming performances over the weekends as well. When Allie isn’t at the dance studio (which isn’t often!), she enjoys hiking, eating ice cream, doing artsy things (examples include drawing, painting, and crafts with pretty paper and glue), and hanging-out her dog, Keisha. She has enjoyed writing in school so far, and thinks Journalism class is a good way to explore a different type of writing than what she’s done in other classes. As of now, Allie is still unsure of her plans for after graduation. In college, she is considering pursuing dance and movement, something to do with science and the environment, teaching, or health. Allie is excited to explore new and different activities after high school. This is her first year taking Journalism, and is enjoying the class so far. She likes writing this way because of all the interesting things she will get to explore in order to create stories.
