Maddy Blake, Staff Writer
Maddy Blake, is a Senior attending Hollis Brookline High School. She has lived in the small town of Brookline for all of her life and loves to stay connected with the community. She lives at home with her two supportive parents and two loving brothers. Being a middle child and growing up with two brothers has encouraged her strong personality and determination. Blake is known for her passion for volleyball and her kind heart. She has played many varsity sports through the high school including basketball and volleyball and is known for her true commitment and leadership on and off the court. As a two year captain on the varsity volleyball team, Blake knows how to lead a team and set goals. She is a first year Journalism student but loves to write and keep updated on what is going on in the community. Blake's dream for after high school is to attend a college where she can continue her passion of volleyball, experience new things and study Occupational Therapy (OT). Blake’s kind heart, determination, and will to make other people happy is why OT will be a great career for her to be involved in. She is looking forward to a great senior year and a successful semester of Journalism. She hopes to be able to contribute great ideas and opinions for the upcoming news articles.
