Avery Webb ‘18, a senior at Hollis Brookline High School, is beginning her first year with CavChron as News Editor. At HB, she is in National Honor Society, and is also a four4-year starting catcher on the varsity softball team. In her free time, she volunteers at the Nashua Soup Kitchen, tutors students in Spanish, plays softball on a travel team year-round, and spends an unhealthy amount of time with her mom. Family is a big part of Avery’s life; she has an older sister who graduated from HB in 2016, and a younger brother who is a sophomore. When possible, she travels as much as she can, spanning from the coasts of Connecticut with her grandparents to the vibrant cities of Spain. She is looking forward to studying neuroscience in college as well as playing for the university’s varsity softball team.
