The Hollis Brookline Varsity Football team is hoping to accomplish the goal of winning a game after many tough losses this 2025 fall season.
The varsity football team’s record is 0-4 at the moment. Varsity football captain Philip Berke is hoping” to compete and win at least one game”this season. He knows with hard training and good energy, winning a game is possible for the football team this season .
Ultimately he hopes the team has fun with this season and to keep being positive. Liam Zemek, a fellow member on varsity, sees a big difference in the team from last year and says “there is definitely a lot more effort.”
Zemek sees a big difference in almost every aspect of the game, like coaching, playing, and mindsets. Both players have overall positive mindsets for this season.
Alton Williams, an avid watcher of Hollis Brookline varsity football, believes there could possibly be a win and sees that there are some challenges on the team that could be fixed for the team to be better .
As a fan, watching your team lose can be pretty rough, but Williams will keep watching to support them like most students do at Hollis Brookline.
Zemek states that “The team is young ,talented ,and has a bright future.”From the words of the players, it looks like the football team has great potential to achieve their goal of winning a game this fall of the 25’season .
