Natalie Haytayan, Editor-in-Training
Natalie Haytayan is a junior at HBHS whose career goal includes working in the media one day. Whether that be in front of the camera, behind it, or working at a magazine- she loves it all. She loves learning about celebrities and thinks they have a significant influence on society. She took Journalism because she aspires to a career involved in writing. Natalie has been involved with keeping up her blog, as well as attending a writing summer camp for the past seven years, in order to improve her skills and achieve her dream. She hopes to work behind the scenes as a director, or work as a journalist at NBC.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys taking photos, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys writing about life and relationships. She views Carrie Bradshaw, the main character from the well-known TV series Sex in the City and The Carrie Diaries, as an inspiration. Haytayan lived in Boston for about a month and a half before moving to Hollis. She looks forward to the day when she can explore the world and live in a big city. Natalie has taken Improvisational Theater for three years; she loves performing on stage. Haytayan's brother Harry '13, the eldest of four, wants a career involving economics, while sister Jackie '17 wants to become a doctor. Robby , the youngest and a fifth grader at HUES, wants to be a pro basketball player. Natalie loves spending time with her family and is very excited to be working on her school newspaper.
