Evan Moloney, News Editor
Evan Moloney is a first-year Journalism student and a Senior at HB. As the CavChron’s News Editor, he seeks to create a base of reference for students and provide information on relevant events both within and outside of the immediate community. While maintaining the CavChron’s usual focus on hometown, in-school and relevant events, Evan also intends to find a balance between making news both undistilled and engaging for adolescent readers. He hopes that his year serving the CavChron will be as enjoyable as it will be productive, and is more than open to input from peers outside the paper as to what needs to be written.
Outside Room 141, Evan works as a children’s martial-arts teacher at Neil Stone’s Karate Academy, and intends to create a career blending elements of psychology in order to use martial arts as a lifestyle development tool. In addition, he is working with agents toward the publication of his debut novel, and has a second story in the works.
